Last year’s Carnival float.  A walking float with a 14 foot high Joseph.  The theme was ‘Musicals’.

This year the theme is ‘Circus’ and our float was again a walking float.  It will was a large elephant which sits on the trailer.

The carnival this year was less than sunny.  For most of the morning the rain was falling steadily and there was quite a wind.  However about an hour before the rain eased and we were able to put the trailer together.  It was pulled by a team of six ‘strong men’ - the “Stongenoff Brothers”.

Wesley Place won the walking Float category again, and the main float category was won by Christchurch and Oakhanger.

Family History

Most Family web sites contain information about the history of the family in question. I am trying to get some information together to put on the site but so far it is taking second place to work and the family. I have a load of information but it is not organized properly. It hasn't got any further in the past seven years.
